This study analyzes the digital economy development strategies of advanced countries such as the United States, Australia, Ja-pan, Singapore, and China, aiming to draw valuable lessons for Vietnam. The study highlights key success factors through a comparative research, including substantial investment in digi-tal infrastructure, policies encouraging innovation, enhancing digital workforce quality, and creating a flexible legal environ-ment. Based on these analyses, the study proposes practical recommendations for Vietnam, including policy reforms, im-proving digital skills for the workforce, promoting digital trans-formation in enterprises, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and developing an overarching strategy to foster a digital market and build an ecosystem that supports digital startups, thereby enhancing global competitiveness.
