In today's rapidly developing society, especially with technological advancements, education is also undergoing a significant transformation, moving towards what is known as Education 5.0. This new phase emphasizes the development of learners' abilities to self-study, conduct independent research, and acquire practical skills. In this context, the research team has identified that equipping students with soft skills is essential for their academic success and personal development. At Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (UTE), students majoring in Garment Technology (GT) begin learning soft skills in their first semester through Introduction to GT and other courses in subsequent semesters. However, changes in the learning environment have caused confusion among students, making it challenging to acquire and apply these skills effectively. This article proposes essential soft skills crucial for students' learning processes, along with appropriate teaching methods. The research also focuses on creating learning resources to support both teaching and learning, implementing teaching practices, and conducting surveys to assess the effectiveness of soft skills training.
