In the context of globalization, digital transformation, and the rapid development of social media, hostile, reactionary, and opportunistic forces have continuously intensified their activities to undermine and distort the ideological foundation of the Communist Party of Vietnam. In response to this situation, enhancing the role of lecturers at political schools has become an urgent requirement, as they are the core force directly responsible for disseminating, researching, and developing Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought. These lecturers not only play a crucial role in providing ideological orientation and strengthening the political confidence of cadres and Party members but also serve as a key force in combating and refuting erroneous and hostile viewpoints. This article analyzes and clarifies the roles and responsibilities of political school lecturers, assesses the current situation, and proposes several major solutions to enhance their roles and responsibilities in fulfilling this important task, thereby meeting the requirements of Party building in the current context.
