Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been rapidly developing, and investigating the knowledge and attitudes of pharmacy students at Vinh Medical University toward AI and ChatGPT provides insights into current awareness and educational gaps. This cross-sectional study involved focused group discussions and an online survey of 216 fourth- and fifth-year pharmacy students. Results indicated that most students had accessed and used ChatGPT in their studies, valuing its support in learning and gathering pharmaceutical information. ChatGPT was also seen as a potential tool for professional support. Students demonstrated positive knowledge and attitudes, suggesting that equipping them with AI-related knowledge could contribute to future innovation and sustainable career development.
