The 2018 General Education Curriculum identifies experience and career-oriented as compulsory educational activities carried out from grade one to grade twelve. These activities replace extracurricular activities, but with changes in name, objectives, content, methods, and regulations for testing and evaluating outcomes. This raises the question of what measures teacher training institutions need to take to develop the competency of organizing experiential activities for pre-service teachers, ensuring they meet practical requirements immediately after graduation. By examining curriculum documents and drawing on practical research results, this article proposes measures to develop the competency of organizing experiential activities for pre-service teachers during their training. The proposed measures emphasize integrating and embedding the development of this competency through the teaching of specialized subjects, pedagogical subjects, and Youth Union activities.
