Among a wide range of technologies exploited by teachers, podcasting has emerged as a novel tool to enhance language skills. This experimental research was carried out to investigate the effectiveness of using podcast in teaching listening comprehension. The findings suggest that students’ listening skills will develop to a greater extent as a result of using podcasting technolody in the classroom and such listening practice should be an integral part of ESL teaching at university level due to its benefits of providing students with authentic and contextual materials and motivation to sharpen their listening skills.
