This study was conducted to investigate the current status of managing professional capacity development activities for teachers in lower secondary schools in Dien Chau district, Nghe An province. Through surveys and the collection of opinions from 75 participants, including school administrators and teachers, the study analyzed, evaluated, and clarified the current management practices of these activities in lower secondary schools in the area. Based on the findings, the paper proposes several orientations for improving the management of professional capacity development activities for teachers, thereby contributing to enhancing the quality of the teaching workforce to meet the requirements of ongoing general education reform.
