When Western empires infiltrated Asian countries which had traditional relations with China such as Vietnam and North Korea, Minister of Qing Dynasty - Ly Hong Chuong, gave strategic planning “taking the enemy to cope with the enemy” in order to maintain this relationship. However, that strategic planning of Ly Hong Chuong could not compete with the power of the West, making the Qing dynasty not only unable to protect the traditional Neighbour Relationship but also being torn by the Western empires, becoming a colony.
