Han Mac Tu is one of the typical authors in the New Poetry Movement in Vietnam in the 20th Century. With a uniquely creative personality, by using the rhetorical comparison method with high frequency, he has brought to readers unique and surprising imagination, which has created new poetic images and excited fine feelings, mysterious moods, and sorrowful sentiments in human souls. Through the study of the rhetorical comparison method in poems of Han Mac Tu, we have more experience and conditions to reach the poetic language of other authors in the 1932-1945 New Poetry Movement in particular and that of contemporary authors in general.
