Female workers in rural coastal Nghe An Province have low qualifications and limited access to livelihood resources. The number of female laborers in rural areas accounts for more than half of the total labor force. Therefore, support for livelihood development for rural female laborers in the coastal area is a matter of concern in this region's socio-economic development strategy. The paper focuses on the analysis of their occupational status and income, thence proposes suitable types of occupations in order to create jobs, raise incomes and improve the living conditions of female workers in the coastal areas of Nghe An Province.
