Due to its important geopolitical position in the strategic chessboard in the Southeast Asian region, the relationship of defense and security between India and Myanmar after 1991 has shown outstanding developments. The article presents the process of security and national defense relations between India and Myanmar from 1991 to 2018 from the lens of the East Pivoting Policy and East Pivoting Action of India. thence, the article initially draws comments on the impact of this relationship on the common development of these two countries in particular and that of the region in general.
