The production of vegetables and fruits is greatly affected by harmful insects, so vegetable growers frequently must use pesticides. If these chemicals are used improperly, residues will affect the environment, which has significant impacts on people health causing unsafety for both producers and consumers. Therefore, it is necessary to research and manufacture traps for harmful insects to minimize insects’ harmful effects, and to reduce and move towards no use of pesticides. This study based on the biological properties of some harmful insects to propose one type of insect trap with effectiveness and safety for users.
