Amomum longiligulare is a valuable medicinal plant. Essential oils of A. longiligulare also widely used in the production of cosmetics. In the plan of Nghe An pharmaceutical development, A. longiligulare is one of three species groups proposed to be planted on an area of 100 hectares in mountain areas. However, in Nghe An, this species is distributed very few in the wild, difficult to develop into a pharmaceutical materials area. This study was conducted on a 1-ha model of A. longiligulare cultivation under the regenerated natural forest canopy in order to find out some suitable ecological conditions to recommend for the cultivation and development of the area of A. longiligulare under a natural forest canopy. The results show that A. longiligulare are suitable for planting under the canopy of natural forests, where canopy cover is 30% -50%, altitude 100 - 800m above sea level, rainfall 2,000 - 3,000mm/ year, humidity land over 17%. After 2 years the tree bears fruit, about 120kg of...
