Developing creative capacity for students is one of the urgent requirements of our high school education, especially those of gifted students high schools, which train high-quality human resources for the development of the country. This capacity in chemistry teaching can be developed through different measures. However, the use of practical chemistry exercises is considered as an effective measure. Through the survey of teaching chemistry in gifted students high schools in the Central and Southern Regions, it is found that teachers are limited to using practical chemistry exercises to help students explore, research, and apply knowledge learned to solve practical problems. This paper addresses the use of practical exercises in teaching organic chemistry modules to develop creative capacities for gifted high school students.
