In order to ensure that learning situations encourage students to express their calculational activities, we organize learning activities for students to experience situations and then we observe and collect evidence. If the evidence showns the students’ calculational activities as expected, we conlude that the situations work well. If not, the situations need adjust to be more appropriate. We call it the process of testing learning situation that we will clarify in this article.
