Travel sketch has been especially flourished in the recent years as a typical literary genre. Human sensibility as a result of integration trend becomes one of the unique and inspirable points in these travel works. Based on the survey of contemporary Vietnamese travel sketch (from 2000 up to now), this paper initially identifies the original literary world which was built up by human sensibility. That reveals in some specific expressions: the aspiration of travelling, the effort to integrate and conquer cultural challenges and sense of “go and come back”. All of these together are fueled by a mix of proper style of language, open structural forms and natural narrative that makes contemporary travel sketch more popular and charismatic to readers.
