This article presents the current state of confidence among full-time students at Ba Ria - Vung Tau College of Education when they apply information technology into their academic activities and practicum as well as the causes of such situation. The paper also offers some measures to be taken with a view to building up students’ confidence in this aspect, which include changes in the teaching content of Computer Science; innovations in dealing with the course on “The Application of Information Technology in Teaching”, creating favorable conditions for students in terms of learning facilities and friendly study environment.
