The article is to perform the results of the indirect tensile test with two combination samples of dim coal (peat) which has the anisotropic angle of α = 00 and α = 900. The results showed that the tensile strength in both cases above was anisotropy. However, the case of α = 900 has the anisotropic angle larger than the case of α = 00, or in another word, the featured anisotropic tensile strength depends on the angle which was created by bedding and loading direction.
