Twenty-eight species of amphibians were recorded from Pu Luong Nature Reserve, Thanh Hoa Province, and twenty-two of them are recorded for the first time from this nature reserve. In terms of conservation concern, three species are listed in the Vietnam Red Book (2007), namely are Megophrys palpebralespinosa, Rhacophorus kio, Ichthyophis bannanicus and twenty-four species are listed in the IUCN Red List (2020), and two species are currently known only from Vietnam.
