Statistics plays an increasingly important role in life and scientific research. The Mathematics Education Curriculum 2006 has been equiped students with the content of statistics, however, such equipment has not been continuously implemented. In the Mathematics Education Curriculum 2018, Statistics and Probability become an important knowledge strand, taught throughout and seamlessly from grade 2 to grade 12. In this article, we first explore the main changes in the content of statistics of the Mathematics Education Curriculum 2018 compared to the current Curriculum. Next, we focus on some of the main aspects in teaching the content of statistics of the Mathematics Education Curriculum 2018 at high school. Finally, we draw some ideas about teaching the content of statistics that meets requirements of the Curriculum.
