In setup of Ytterbium-doped solid-state lasers, the wavelength of pumping laser should be around 976 nm and tunable. Distributed Feedback (DFB) high power diode lasers are particular candidates because of their compactness. Therefore, characterization of electro-optics, spectral and spatial beam properties are very necessary to provide usefull information for the applications.
